It is not the agents fault because like everyone else, they cannot determine the characteristics of these maids as true characteristics can only be revealed after certain time period. So, for those maid agents who told you how good their maids are, you can forget about hiring from them and look for more reliable and honest agents who did not give you too much false hopes.

So, what are the general characteristics of an Indonesian maid?
Characteristics of the maids are strongly affected by their age. The best choices are the maids below 25 years of age. The maids are young and energetic. They are smarter and are better educated. As a result can pick up instructions faster and can do the job at greater speed compare to older maids. The bad point is although they are younger, they are impatient, more rebellious and they got weak mentality, This is normal to any young people. Therefore, if there is any elderly person in the employer’s home, it is not recommended for them to go for young maids because there are many cases in which elderly employers cannot communicate well with younger maids. In general, elderly persons are a little fussy and on many occasions there younger maids finds it difficult to perform their work up to their high expectations.
